Shinzo OCs -- Shuen and Shihou

I WOULD LIKE TO PRELUDE THIS WITH A STATEMENT. I really wasn't going to make OCs for this series. Seriously. It was gonna be like Saiyuki for me. Or Hayate no Gotoku. Or HOT GIMMICK. ...but the question got asked, and I caved. But seriously. Dane can vouch for me. I think. <xD;; God, this brings the total up to...geez. Like, thirty OCs. Most of which are for Digimon or Code Geass. -headdesk-

SO. There's totally a theme behind the Enterran, which ties into the mythology behind Shinzo/Mushrambo. Which, incidently, is the same mythology behind Saiyuki. ;D Also. If you don't know what Saiyuki is, SHAME ON YOU, GO GET EDU-MA-CATED. Especially if you're a boy who likes lots of blood and fighting. Or a girl that likes fanservice. Or if you're like me and love both. ;D However, it's kind of just dawning on me that the character from Journey to the West that the Enterran is referencing is kiiiiiiiiiiiind of referenced in Mushra. But, let's face it, the only similarities are the fight-happy nature, the staff, and the golden diadem. D| He's a phoenix, not a monkey.

So, the little boy is Shuen Sawakaru, and the Enterran is Shihou. Shuen is a human boy of about roughly eleven years old with a fiery temper and an endless amount of energy. Shihou is a monkey Enterran who ends up taking the boy under his wing and protecting him after Shuen beat him in a riddle competition. Shuen often refers to Shihou as "nii-chan," although he's not above bossing the Enterran around. Shuen did have a pair of elder sisters who protected him until he was about six--then the two of them were killed by several serpent Enterrans. The only reason Shuen survived was because Shihou stepped in and defeated the virulent Enterrans, subsequently burning their EnCards. Shuen followed Shihou around until Shihou demanded that he stop, but Shuen refused and begged to stay with Shihou. Shihou then challenged the boy to a riddle competition, which [as stated before] Shuen won. So...the two became traveling partners.

Shuen likes to run around and explore, though he tends to attract trouble with his insatiable curiousity. He can be bratty at times, a habit Shihou keeps pointing out [which usually met with "I'M NOT BRATTY, YOU DUMB MONKEY/BAKA SARU."] Shihou's not much better, though--in fact, he's kind of a bad influence. xD He's disliked by both good and evil Enterrans because he's a mischief-making trickster with a bottomless pit for a stomach. He tends to think of his own survival over others' well-being, but he does have a soft spot for Shuen and makes sure he's kept safe from relative harm. Shihou boasts a number of abilities, ranging from being able to create clouds upon which he's able to transport both himself and Shuen to being able to create clones of himself from strands of his hair. He fights using a magical staff known as a nyoi-bo, which is able to transform to whatever size Shihou feels necessary; when not being used in battle, Shihou transforms his nyoi-bo to the size of a needle and tucks it inside of his headband around his forehead for safekeeping.

With the cry of "Fist of the Monkey!", Shihou is able to take on a Hyper Transformation mode. In this mode, he's able to weild his nyoi-bo with greater profieciency; his hand-to-hand combat skills are also enhanced. He's able to smash the earth with his punches and kicks and fling rocks and boulders at his enemies--as well as send them flying at opponents like baseballs with a swing of his nyoi-bo. His air abilities are somewhat improved as well, as he's now able to blast currents of air at his opponents in a manner reminiscent of the Kamehameha Wave technique.

If someone says "hey he's got a tail like a Saiyan is he part Saiyan did you reference him from DBZ" or anything to that effect, I'll punch you in the face. D8< Yes, he has a tail, but that is because he's a monkey Enterran, not some battle-happy warrior space monkey--...oh, wait. He...kind of is--BUT NOT A SAIYAN. ...Totally not. > A >

There are also references with the names, but I won't bore you guys unless you're interested. |D;; But...yeah. -waves hands in a dorkish manner-
